Gonda: In view of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Recruitment Examination 2025, Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal conducted a detailed inspection of multiple examination centres across Gonda on Thursday to ensure foolproof security and smooth conduct of the exam.
The recruitment examination is being organized by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. During his visit, the SP reviewed key arrangements including security deployment, candidate entry procedures, frisking protocols, seating arrangements, and overall management at the centres. He also checked the functionality of CCTV cameras installed at the venues to ensure effective surveillance and transparency throughout the examination process.
Issuing strict directions to centre administrators, the SP emphasized that the examination must be conducted in a fair, transparent, and peaceful manner. He instructed officials to ensure thorough checking of candidates in accordance with prescribed guidelines and to maintain strict vigilance to prevent any malpractice.
Special attention was also given to traffic management. Necessary instructions were issued to the traffic in-charge to ensure smooth vehicular movement and to avoid inconvenience for candidates during the examination period.

According to officials, the recruitment examination will be held from April 25 to April 27, 2026, across the district. A total of 33,120 candidates are expected to appear for the exam, which will be conducted in two shifts daily, with 5,520 candidates in each shift. For this purpose, 14 examination centres have been set up across the district.
To maintain law and order, elaborate security arrangements have been put in place. The deployment includes two Additional Superintendents of Police, three Circle Officers, 40 Inspectors, 101 Sub-Inspectors, and a total of 449 police personnel. Additionally, each examination centre will have one sector magistrate and one static magistrate on duty.
Authorities have also planned continuous monitoring around examination centres, with mobile police teams conducting regular patrols to ensure a secure environment. The district administration and police department are working in close coordination to ensure the examination is conducted smoothly, peacefully, and without any disruptions.
